Small group environment

During some of the activities in TRACK students will have the opportunity to work in pairs or small groups. By working together students can help each other on weaker skills and learn together in an assertive environment.

interactive activities

Does your child complain about working on math facts in the form of a worksheet? In TRACK students practice facts with hands-on manipulative such as skip chips, tower cups, and logic games. Students not only practice their math facts, but have fun doing it.

Online Practice included

While its great students practice skills here at Math Corner in order for students to build long term retention students must practice on a daily basis. This is why we have made the summer skills challenge a bonus for all TRACK students. Students work on their custom objectives through our online platform to win prizes throughout the summer.

90 Minute Sessions

TRACK is an extended 90 minutes this summer so students can have more time (and fun) practicing with games which take a bit more time.

Frequently asked questions

As part of the TRACK program students are placed in the summer skills challenge. This challenge gives them list of objectives to complete using the IXL platform. While this is meant to be done at home, the more students accomplish the bigger prizes they can earn for their progress.

While TRACK is a small group each student is working on their individual objectives. Students who have similar objectives may be partnered to work together on a project or activity. Some of the math games do require multiple people and is designed for a variety of levels so everyone can participate equally.
